About Us

David Berney started B6 Sports to create an outlet for young athletes to develop in their sports and to offer opportunities to showcase their talents. With the assistance of his family, this dream has become a reality!

David is a graduate of Oxford High School Class of 1992. His love of the Wildcats has never wavered and he wants to give every young athlete - even non-Wildcats the opportunity to play at a level past high school.

David enjoyed playing football at Eastern Michigan University. To this day his teammates are his brothers and he reconnects with them any chance he gets!

David's passion for youth sports drives his involvement in local leagues and mentorship programs, where he encourages young athletes to chase their dreams with the same vigor and determination that he brought to the gridiron, basketball and track. Whether coaching, organizing community events, or simply supporting from the sidelines, David is committed to fostering a sense of unity and growth through sports.
